Phirnis just got a whole lot tastier and healthier! Make Phirnis from the goodness of Jowar and tasty HERSHEY'S Chocolate Flavored SYRUP.
Take a non-stick pan, roast the jowar with clarified butter till it is dry and coarsely ground it.
In a wide thick-bottomed saucepan, add the ground jowar and milk. Bring it to a boil and later cook on low heat until jowar cooks.
By this time, the milk would start thickening.
Keep stirring continuously, add HERSHEY'S Chocolate Flavored SYRUP and stir together.
Crush cardamoms in a muddler and add to the phirni.
Now remove the saucepan from the heat and let it cool down a little.
For serving, pour a little of the HERSHEY’S Chocolate Flavored SYRUP in a small clamp jar and add the cooked phirni. Garnish with dried rose petals.
Set in the fridge for 2-3 hours and serve chilled.
Tip:
To make it more healthy, add sliced almonds on the top of the chocolate phirni.
