Hershey India Pvt Ltd rolled out a new program called ‘Hershey Cares’ within the organization at the onset of the pandemic. This initiative was launched to ensure employee friendly policies, schemes were being introduced specifically to endure the shortcomings of the pandemic along with providing continued support during these difficult times to the frontline workers. As a part of the initiative, in 2021 Hershey India partnered with NGOs to assist hospitals with procuring ventilators, oxygen concentrators and oxygen cylinders, distributed 500 concentrators across hospitals and patients in immediate need and distributed fortified beverages and chocolates to frontline warriors. This was in continuation to a similar gesture which was organized in 2020, it was a simple token of appreciation towards the relentless work being done by the frontline heroes.
